Selfless Spontaneity - August 29th

I today met Naresh Ajwani, VP Projects Sify. At first glance I did not recognize him but he was extremely warm and immediately upon seeing me came forward and said..."...when I see you I get extremely happy. You and me studied in Central Schools (Central Govt run schools for Govt and Defence employees) and you have achieved something in life and I always follow your career progress and feel elated." I still couldn't place him completely ( regret it) but his approach was so warm and friendly that I just opened up and said yes God has been kind and I count my blessings every day. He continued..." Yes but its not just money and position but respect which is most important, you have got it..." . We promised to meet again but the meeting was on mind for about half an hour that...I said to myself, that ..."I too see so many people who we admire and want to talk to...why dont I do it too? After all neither Naresh took anything from me nor will I take anything away from anyone I approach....Naresh left a good taste in my mouth and so will I" . Most people appreciate spontaneity and sincerity.

Thanks Naresh...I too shall do the same from now on.

Have enjoyed reading your blog, Rajeev. Several good messages in each post. It was nice to catch up with you on Saturday. Since you spoke about parindas, I am just going to put a very simple post on my blog re a never-say-die parinda, Lynn
