A dancer may not know how well he/she dances!

Like a dancer who may not know how well he/she dances a young professional may also not know how good he or she is. Both need applause and feedback for motivation and for raising the performance levels. Its as much our duty as that of the person concerned to provide the help. Lets do our bit. Rajeev Karwal

Like many I need your critical appreciations for my success.

Please do the same at http://pkmukherjee.blogspot.com for budding blogger.

The stroke of your pen is a great morale booster for lesser mortals like me.

Thanks.

correct. but how many people can really appreciate a younger person's skills and expertise especially if it surpasses theirs?
Talk of material insecurity and emotional immaturity of majority of working population. No wonder there are so few leaders amongst workers.

Appreciation of a good work and a regular feedback are critical for retaining talent.

People mostly leave their managers and not their Company. A generous appreciation of good work and well timed feedback are important for managers to retain the talent.

After all, p;rofessionals do not work for money alone.
