Bat on the front foot

Look at the way India won, today against England, at the one day cricket game All the players batted on the front foot. Sachin, Saurav looked good for another few years. Gambhir, Yuvraj, Dhoni, Uthappa found form again. I have always said to the young team...bat on the front foot. You risk but that way you approach the ball and can control the game. If you bat on the front foot you are letting the other player and the ball to do more. Maturity does not mean being defensive. We must know when to attack and even while on the front foot you an be defensive sometimes.

Members of my team may have heard it from me often, since last couple of years. Those who bat on front foot ( risk without being reckless) and lose still have my support always.
