I feel a decade Younger

Today I woke up fresh and happy. Saw the news about Milagrow. I will live my dream to do something which also has a strong angle of nation building. Without the support of my family, my team and my friends it was impossible to embark on this journey. It seems I am younger by a decade!

We have started this organization to partner the Small and Medium Enterprises in India. Most of us only talk of big brands, big companies, big cities. Some facts about SMEs ought to change that approach. India has a total of 12 mln SME units ( also includes SSI ) which generate employment for 30 mln ppl . SMEs contribute about 7% to GDP while adding 40 % of gross value to India's industrial production. They generate 35% of total exports at 20 bln Rs However, very few of these companies have the resources to compete decisively on the national scale what to talk about the global scale. 18% are Sick and only 22% have own brand names. They may be in start up, scale up or turnaround stage. The SMEs are in urgent need of best in class management solutions to improve their brands, organizations and cost-competitiveness. They have practical and potential ideas but lack the power to attract and retain appropriate management bandwidth. Through Milagrow we want to start a new concept of 'Management Capital' and Management Funding'. Milagrow would nurture, handhold and milestone these enterprises to be best in class. I am thankful to Dr Jagdish Sheth (www.jagsheth.com) and Padma Shri Anil Gupta (http://www.iimahd.ernet.in/~anilg/) for agreeing to help by being a Mentor and Value Ombudsman (a unique concept). The idea is to help these organizations grow in an ethical, profitable, sustainable manner over a long period of time, to world best levels.

I hope no one will look at this entry as an advertisement of Milagrow. My team and me will strive our best to live up to these goals. My gratitude to all those who have supported and would support me and my team in this endeavor.

All the very best Rajeev.

I worked with IMRB during your time in LG (1998) and had the privilege of meeting you. We had done a rural reserach project for CETMA. I just saw you in the network of a past colleague of mine in LinkedIn. I am currently in the US working with Cisco Systems.

There is no question that the companies you will be working with will benefit from your intelligence and dynamism.

Hi Rajeev,

Came to know about you and your organization through one of my dear friends who is new recruit for you. Your idea is amazing and something which our country desperately needs. Our company is one such and I joined my dad recently to help him bring about professionalism in the company. A company which could use the services of Milagrow. Maybe I will contact in the future if I find I am unable to perform effectively myself. I hope you achieve your targets. Best of luck !
